Getting the paint work all prepared and ready for the winter season that lies ahead.
It’s the best time to start preparing your car for the winter season coming.

I don’t. I rock the winter with the summers build up and after the 2nd or 3rd winter I 2 step where necessary, one step the rest and re ceramic. I get a minimum of 2 years of excellent hydrophobics and protection.
I have found winter paint prep to be wasted time and energy. The post winter clean up is the same. I do polish and recoat my windshield before winter if the protection is such I’m concerned about making it through the winter but that’s a safety issue not a cosmetic one. A good quality ceramic coating that is in the non beading stages is still plenty protective of salt and winter muck. |
