Anyone here into stance?
So I just came across these forums, after imagining what an x1 would look like lowered on some wheels with spacers...but the lack of people doing this worries me.
So here I come to you, asking, do you guys stance?! |

I don't "stance"
But I do plan to lower (not too aggressive) and add spacers to my x1 when it arrives... Maybe an 18x9 square setup too...

Correct me if I'm wrong, because I'll be honest, I know nothing about your trucks, but wouldn't 20x11 sound like a wheel that would belong on a truck? |

I retrofitted E90 KW V3s to fit my X1 because the X1 coilovers werent available a year ago. My fender tabs are rolled and flares are clearanced. I have BBS LMRs e90 fitment with 17.5mm spacers up front with 19x8.5 and 12.5mm out back 19x9.5. I redid the wheels with polished lips and black barrels with color matched Mineral white faces and Gold assembly bolts with Red/Gold 3D BBS center caps. My X is lowered about 5". It is a 28i Xdrive Msport. I have a Set of 20" BBSs that will be going on next spring. 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rear. Hope that answers some of your question. |

Can anyone tell me what offset is necessary to clear the front strut on a 9.5" wheel? I'd like to put some 9.5 et27s up front but don't want to chance it if they aren't going to clear the factory strut...
Endless, what is your effective ET up front after adding the 17.5mm spacers? Thanks! |

good luck i just added the stock rear rims and tires to the front of the x1 and bought new tires and rims for the rear 19x9 all around 255/35-19 with 15mm spacers all around the handling is unbelievable best move i made yet. better than lowering the car. the handling is so neutral and the push is all gone now.
