O2 sensor circuit low voltage after turbo/timing chain replacement
So, after what seemed like a solid 2 weeks of work, the X1 is back to life. I replaced the timing chain and related components, and pulled the hot half of the turbo to replace the wastegate flapper. While I was there, I also swapped the valvetronic motor as it was previously throwing codes. It sounds and runs great, but I am seeing a code P0137 - O2 sensor circuit low voltage bank 1 sensor 2. I checked the sensor voltage, it ranged from 0.00 to 0.12 at idle. I immediately thought I had an exhaust leak, but I replaced all of the manifold exhaust gaskets while I had it out. There is no audible leak. My only thought was that maybe I needed to adjust the wastegate flapper, but after a couple of tweaks, there is no change in the result. I could spend some $$ and change it, but I just want to be sure I'm not missing something.
By the way, this is an N20 E84 with about 100K on it. |
