X line to m sport front bumper
Has anyone done this? Is it a straight swap or are there extra parts to order. I love the front bumper on m sport, curious what is involved. I'd like to do it after the winter.
Thanks in advance. |

As far as the bumper goes, I believe so. However I've never taken the bumper off on a non m sport. You may have to do the side skirt and rear fender trim if you want it all to match though.

Aftermarket may. There are a number of threads on this conversion. A few have done just the bumper and painted sides, mixed with x-line sides, or left the lower one black/silver. So lots of options.

There have been some people who have painted the lower part of the bumpers and fender flares body color and it looks very nice

Still my biggest regret not doing this when I redid my bumper, may just have to give it another go.

the smaller lower front bumper grills weren't that abundant but they are out there, I would start looking for those on ebay if you are looking to do on a budget. I just went with some aftermarket $36 foglights not oem

And the headlight washers just mate up too? Sorry to be persistent, I don't want to get half the stuff taken apart and I have to put everything back because it's my daily.
