Both FOB's stopped working (non comfort)
HELP! 2012 X1 -Both my FOB's stopped working (non comfort) won't open or lock my doors. Help!!! winter is coming and I don't want to manually open and close my doors.

Check FOB batteries if replaceable ones. Mine are because of CA.
If yours not CA, then your FOBs need to be recharged. Did it occur on the same day? Last edited by Gamb1t; 11-06-2018 at 12:13 PM.. |

Mine works except will not start the car with FOB in my pocket. Have to plug it in. Saw one blog suggested that as car battery gets older puts out slightly less voltage and can affect fob. I dont see any difference, so just plugging in to start car for now.

Non CA are rechargeable. Maybe you don't drive enough and they can't charge. You can try charging them with a wireless charger (phone, toothbrush whatever you have). Otherwise source the proper battery and soldier.
It could also be your CAS is not reading properly radio signal. Software diagnostics can give clues also. |
