Are you half way decent with a computer? If so, you can grab a cable and do it yourself for free.

Yup, the most difficult part is getting the software (which is free) up and running on your computer. Once you get that worked out, it's all relatively easy.
Forwarding you some stuff to get you started... Not sure if all the links are still good...but it should get you started. Once you get the software up and running, there's a good step by step link to Alpina reflash instructions out there...hold on...

if you find anyone who can do it let me know, I have tried to do mine several times and the ECU is locked no matter what cable, or way I try.
Will drive for alpina help. |

hey guys, are you able to download and flash back to the stock TCU software ?
I'm curious because I used to have a Cobb Accessport on an old car and found out that software updates at the dealer wouldn't go through with that tune in place. Just want to make sure I won't encounter any issues with the Alpina TCU flash in the future |

The Alpina flash is BMW software, not aftermarket. These maps are included in BMW's software packages. You won't run into any issues.
