bimmercode supports only a few modules for 2015 x1 e84 s28i

Hi,

I recently bought a full-version Bimmercode iOS app and Veepeak BLE4.0 scanner to try out coding my 2015 X1 s28i.

On Bimmercode homepage, my X1 is in the supported car list and the scanner is one of their recommendation tool.

However, when I connected my car with the app, the list of modules seems limited, which is totally different from that in demo mode. In fact, with this list, I can not code any basic coding, such as folding mirrors using the keyfob.

is there anything that I am missing to enable to code the modules unlisted at this time? or my car has kind of less-supportive ECU so no such coding is possible?

Thanks!

I checked it out myself. Very disappointing. I thought it would have the same exact options from the E9X. I think you would need to play with Expert Mode and that is not exactly an ON/OFF switch. You should send a message to their Support team, they've been good to me in the past with answering about options.

You mean I can see more options via WiFi?

FYI, I contacted Bimmercode cs, and he told me that this will be resolved in the next app update.

I am pretty sure that all the options described in the website for at least my car, E84 X1 2015, will be supported from the next update.

Conscious this is an old thread.
I can confirm that Bimmercode will definitely enable Enhanced Bluetooth. You have to do it on the 'Expert mode'

In HEADUNIT Menu...go into Expert mode then 3003_Telefon_Telematik_Online

Turn these to "Aktiv" :
CDMM_Bluetooth_Audio
CDMM_BT_DATABASE
AUDIO_PLAYER_ON_OFF
BT_MODUL_ON_OFF
A2DP_PROFILE

In COMIBOX Menu....go into Expert mode then 3004_Bluetooth_Parameter and turn this to "Aktiv" :
A2DP_AVRCP_EIN_AUS

Have just done this on my X1 this morning - really pleased.

What is “enhanced Bluetooth”?
Any other codes you’d recommend? Only thing I’ve used it for is registering my new battery!

This allows streaming and to also have music data pop up on your idrive display, amongst other things
