I feel like I've just woken up after a long nightmare. BMW finally comes to its senses.

I can envision that those headrests would fully support Arcade Fire.

It is so wonderful, German and BMW. If you are older you will know. Good job. Intrigued to see the final form. I’m never buying an electric car for myself but if this is the future for the unfortunate current generation it’s at least one bright spot for them.

Cut the height by 2 inches and make it wider by 4 inches and then we talk.

Why not withhold judgement until at least a few more photos are released? I’m willing to bet at least a few of the detractors will be future owners.

Also, I’m looking forward to the design aesthetic of these fully electric cars more so than the i4-i7 which share a body with an ICE. The reasoning is so much interior space can be gained when theres no need for a transmission tunnel or fuel tank. The iX is a good example of this.
Maybe it’s because they are giving their opinion on the one photo presented to them.

It has the best parts of vintage BMW and new era combined together in a flawless way.

Once my iX lease is over, I'll be in line to get this.

Not saying design had anything to do with it.... but can't say Porsche is still around when they were on the brink of collapse on multiple occasions and now have the backing of WV group.

I'm not getting the hate, This thing looks awesome! Give me a similar front end for a sedan/coupe and consider me sold!
My only concern is that this is still a CONCEPT so a lot can change from now till release. Just look at the current generations supra concept to actual release...

Or probably because some BMW audience can't handle recent designs, some people just want E46 2.

Now that we‘ve come so far with light technology, why doesn‘t BMW ‚just‘ create a front which allows to customize width / hight of front lights and kidney?

+1

LOL’d at “Porsche takes risks” comment - having produced literally the exact same car for 60 years, then while in the midst of pending financial ruin in the 90s produced the first boxster, their SECOND vehicle…. and then only bailed out by producing SUVs.
