Just purchased a 2015 28i!

Hi guys, new member here and excited to own my first BMW!
I was able to get the dealer I bought the car at to agree to put new winter tires on the stock 17" wheels so that is going to be my winter set up for now...

I've been looking for larger wheels and it seems there are a ton for sale right now with everyone switching over to their winters. I know there are a couple of threats on wheels/tires but I'm not super knowledgeable with wheel and tire sizes yet so I was a bit overwhelmed and confused...

Anyways, can anyone tell me what is the largest possible setup to run with a stock car? I live in a rural area so I can't deal with ANY rubbing at all and still need bump capabilities... Basically I'm looking at 18's or 19's but I'm not sure what fits and if the 19's will throw my speedo off by a lot?? thanks for any help!

Tires on 18's or 19's will have lower profile to make rolling diameter of approx 26 inch diameter the same as on 17's.

I bought 14 x1 s28i with summer staGGERED 18'S of 225/45r18 and 255/40r18 so I could put 4% smaller diameter tires on of 225/40r18 and 255/35r18.

Stock speedo is hard to read and already 5% off, so I use scanguage plugged into OBDII and calibrated to exact speed which is much easier to read.

Go to Tire rack and check tires diameters and ratings.

I would prefer to use the stock speedo just for simplicity. I've done some research and am probably going to go with 225/40R19 all around. Similar diameter and more aggressive look.
