Am I Crazy to Love Orange?

Greetings,
I'm new here and shopping for an X1. I've been driving Subarus for years, (I'm in Boulder, Colorado), and decided it's time for something a little nicer.

Anyway, I'm quite taken with the Orange X1's, but I'm having trouble convincing the rest of the family. Am I crazy for liking this color?

I'm also on the fence about Leatherette interiors. I love good quality leather. Any thoughts on that?

My apologies if this has been discussed in previous threads.

The orange looks great, not sure I could live with it. Might have lower resale the colo4 is trendy

I'm pretty much of the same mind. I find it has grown on me and is nice to see on occasion, but don't think I'd want to see it all the time.

When I was looking for my X1 orange and black were the only two colors I ruled out.

I think the orange looks great. I am a blue car guy and found a blue X1 but Orange would have been my second color. If you're buying YOUR car you should get it in whatever color YOU like.

I agree because when I see YOU driving down the street I will say that looks great , I am just not sure I can face in my own garage every morning That and the fact that my wife does not like it

You see that Orange X1 all over the 2015 marketing materials I looked at and it looks great. But they show white seats with it, not for me. It was the coral red seats or some combination of it - I saw those in one parked on the street that initially got me interested in the X1. Utlimately, I bought used and didn’t get my first color choices.

Love the orange, my gray is kinda dull. But it never looks dirty...Thought about orange but like the others not sure I want to see it every day.

When I see one, which is rare, they look great.

I found blue, which was my preferred color, but if I had only found orange, I think I would have been happy with it. Not my usual color by any means, but I think it looks good. I've seen some odd shades of color on cars, but this orange looks good, while standing out. I have to agree with Turbod -- if given the choice, probably would have been my #2 color choice!

I wouldn't hesitate to buy an orange one.

Sadly for me, in 2015 I believe all the M Sports were Le Mans Blue so I didn't have a choice.

I've had my Valencia for about 6 months now. I love it and the color gets a lot of attention.
