Will this fit my X1 35i??

Been looking around at a few intercoolers and came across this, will this fit my X1 35i? From what I understand the 335's are the same as the X1..

Why wouldn't you just buy from a reputable brand?

It is a crapshoot if some unknown item from ebay will even be better than the stock one

I'm all about saving money, not spending just because of a name. So, are 335's the same as a X1? From what I have found they are. Just need to confirm.

If you check the compatibility list on the ebay listing it says no, but the VRSF one listed here http://www.vr-speed.com/vrsf-7-front...-e90-e92.html? says it fits both the E90 and E92.

You don't really get guarantees with fleabay

I get saving money, but there is also being penny wise and dollar foolish. It's just me, but I paid for a BMW, I'll pay for something reputable that I can find solid reviews on.

Yep, my point to him was that the VRSF that fits his X1 is also listed as fitting the E90/E92 335 he was asking about it being common to.

I wouldn’t even upgrade the intercooler if your on the stock turbo unit. Especially with a cheap model that has crappy connectors and cheap t bolt clamps. You’ll end up chasing small boost leaks. The stock intercooler performs well enough for most multi gear pulls. It won’t perform the best for track duty and constant heat, but you’re probably in the wrong car if that’s your plan.
I’ve had the 7inch VRSF unit installed for the past 4 years or so. There is trimming required to get this unit to fit, but it works well and is very reasonably priced.

i have been down this road in the past. i have had a 135 and 335 with full bolt on’s. the unit i was looking at is utilizing OEM connectors not T-bolts. I have had the VRSF and a no name in both BMW’s i had. both performed well. I don’t track my cars but i do like HP / TQ.
