E84 EBT questions

Hi
I've just bought a lovely low mileage 2014 X1 2.0D SDrive Msport. But, it seems like many others, I'm disappointed to learn that it doesn't stream music over bluetooth.

I've searched and searched but think I'm more confused than when I started. There seems to be so many variations based upon options, age, model, and region.

I have the following options according to BVZine:

S606A Navigation system Business
S620A Voice control
S654A Radio Bavaria C III
S698A Area-Code 2 for DVD

head_unit CICMR
I-Level(current) E89X-14-07-500
I-Level(factory) E89X-14-07-500
Market EUR
ASD No Data
Phone module CMEDIAR
Telematic ECU CECALLR

Production Date 2014-08-27

I think I have a combox in the boot (Silver amplifier looking thingy) in boot floor.

Where I'm totally lost is to whether I can code in EBT, if not what do I need to buy / upgrade / retrofit.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers. Not surprised it doesn't work on bimmercode, but was thinking ncsexpert.

I've picked teh car up and it def has a combox. It seems all the FXX series cars can be coded via ODB2 (and some via Bimmercode) for enhanced BT, but I can't find anyone with an EXX series (and we were one of the last, so its probably only us who have an EXX series and a combox) who's done it.

Anyone???
Or does anyone know a remote coder (or a coder in the Farnham/Guildford/S.London area of the UK), who I could get in touch with?

If you have CIC headunit and COMBOX it should be possible via NCS Expert. Can I get the last 7 of the ViN to confirm? PM me if you don't want to publish on the forum

Edit: Its going to be a few weeks before I get the opportunity to learn the software and give it a go.

Sounds good, - there is a bluetooth module that gives you steering wheel controls but it's not great. Excited to hear about this.

I gave up trying last year, and ended buying a little bluetooth audio receiver.
I just found informations for an F30, and applied to my 2015 E84.
