Sun blinds for the X1
Hiya,
Can anyone help? I've just ordered a new X1 and I'm looking for BMW sun blinds. The brochure mentions them but there seems to be nothing online. Does anyone know where I can get either BMW ones or some plain classy alternatives? I don't fancy the windowsox. Thanks in advance. Kind regards, Katy |

Hi Ksfurby,
i have ordered an X1 as well, i asked about the sunblind as well (i assume you are talking about the one which goes in the back windows and the boot as well) they cost around $500 Australian dollars.....you might want to call your spare parts guys at BMW and they can give you a price. |

I also got the Sun blinds as well.
It was available on the catalog when I got mine. Insanely expensive though, nearly 500€ regular price. I had to complain quite a bit for them to offer a sizeable discount (and even so, it was still expensive, considering its no even "rollable" curtains, but simple snap-ons. |

Welcome to the forum, neighbour Which X1 did you go for? I also had an issue with the blinds as I thought the BMW ones were expensive for what they are. As mentioned elswhere they clip into the window frames and are not the roller type found in other BMWs. I also did not like the plastic clip things you have to stick onto the frames to hold the blinds in place. There is another thread where this was also discussed but I went for the windowsox for the following reasons: 1. They are cheap, under £20 if I remember correctly. 2. They are for very occasional use (this is Scotland ) 3. Less important but you can open the windows with them on, my son needs air or he will thow up all over my car
