The new X1 has the best implementation of iDrive 8 IMO. The layout and design is pretty much identical but the rounded corners on the screen make a significant difference between having it looked like it slapped on the dash (3er/M3) and sort of integrated (X1).
Still disappointed that the iDrive knob is gone and thr X1 is touch screen only. |

I have one coming in this week, mineral white on mocha, M-Sport & Premium enhanced packages, 20 inch wheel option. Drove the base model and it was comfortable.
