BootMod3 for X1 35i???
I love almost everything about my 2014 X1 35i M sport, but the acceleration lag has always driven me crazy. Throttle body adaptation resets help some but only go so far... so I've finally decided it's time for an ECU flash. I've looked into various options and am most interested in BootMod3, which is a pure flash without any bolt-on tuning box. Has anybody here installed BM3 on their X1, and if so, what has your experience been? The program does work (apparently quite well) on other models with the N55 V6 engine, but I've never heard of it being used on an X1.

I believe BM3 stuff is just for f-chassis and newer (don't think e-chassis is supported). For sluggishness correction, you should look into xhp transmission flash, it will completely transform how your car drives. I no longer miss my manual transmissions since flashing xhp. For more power, I'd recommend MHD e-series n55 flasher. With both of these, there are off-the-shelf maps available, and they also support custom tuning if you'd prefer. Really good bang for your buck.
