Recommend an app? A service manual?

Hi,
I just got a 2015 X1 xDrive28i.

I see a couple of Android apps that I think should be able to reset service indicators, as well as making features easier to use, changing instrument panel display.

If I just want that stuff & diagnosis, no performance mods, what do you recommend? Carly? Bimmerlink? Something else?

I have a simple bluetooth OBD2 adapter that works with my BMW motorcycle & a different Android app. Hopefully it would work with these.

Is there a recommended service manual? I found a post somewhere that said maybe we could download stuff from BMW publications for a day for a smallish fee. But on their website it wasn't clear at all what I would be able to do once I paid. If I can just browse but not download, that's not for me.

I searched for this stuff & couldn't even figure out if the consensus is to rotate the tires (I plan to, but I don't know the importance). My Subaru has tight specs for wear differences between front & rear, as far as I can tell the xDrive28i does not?

I really did search first. Sorry if it's all been answered many times before.
