Anyone Install a BOV on their N20 X1?

Any tips for the installation?

I have the CTS N20 BOV and an Electric Wastegate Actuator on a 2015 BMW X1 sDrive28i, and was advised I’ll need to Install a Boost Tap along with it. Where does the Boost Tap connect to?

Ended up having the N20 CTS BOV installed at a local shop here in LA (Ghost Motorsports) without having to use a boost tap.

I brought the parts along with this Metric Long Arm Ball End Hex Key Wrench Set, which the mechanic said helped to unscrew the OEM BOV:

Although the CTS website (https://www.ctsturbo.com/product/cts...off-valve-kit/) instructs:

NOTE: If your car has an electric wastegate, you must use a boost tap in order to install this BOV.

We recommend P3Cars boost tap available for purchase here: https://www.p3cars.com/bmw/p3-boost-...w-n20-n54-n55/
seems like you don’t need it.

Also confirming tip from a fellow forum member:
