No xdelete coming :(

Looks like they gave up on working on the e84, what a bummer.

This was the response I got from xdelete back in December 2019. Looks like they finally said "never".

"The problem is, that the E84 TCUs are a weird hybrid, between the TCUs used in E-series and F-series which makes them their complete own thing. We may support them in the future, but i can not give an ETA. Never say never."

Why not just remove the front driveshaft?

That's what he said to me originally but after checking back recently they said it won't be possible for whatever reason. I was really looking forward to this feature on the x1 with the n55 and tune.

I'd happily pay for this, maybe we can get a bounty going for another dev to take this on.

I sent a message to customer support to add my vote for xDelete for the e84.

It had such a limited run. I can understand that the R&D would likely not be a good ROI.

But it can't hurt to flood them with requests.
