Unhappy Plastic Oil Plug/Other Options?

I just took my BMW X1 sdrive 28i to get an oil change and it was a nightmare! I ordered new plugs because they said it was starting to strip so I figured it would be okay. We went through a whole box and still have a slight drip issue. Is there a metal option out there? Any solutions to this problem?
