Aftermarket 20 inch wheels will they fit??

Anyone run 20 inch wheels? I'm looking at a deal 20x8.5 in the front 20x10 in the rear will they fit? Or will I have problems

You will have to factor in offset as well (or run spacers), but I see no reason why these would not work.

The fronts absolutely will, as I'm running 245s on 9" wide wheels. With a 10 you will probably need to go to at least a 265, but there is a lot more clearance in the rear than there is up front, so I highly doubt it will be an issue.

This is purely personal, but I wouldn't ever consider a 20" wheel as the ride is going to suck big time.

This would just be a second pair of wheels for wife she has curbed the stock ones pretty good just found a cheap set I was thinking about buying for the hell of it

No trying to sound like an @$$, but that's a really bad way to pick a set of wheels.

You need to know way more details (offset, bore size, leg pattern, etc.) Just being a BMW wheel does not mean they will automatically fit you vehicle

So if she curbed the original one, the way to solve it is to buy her aftermarket wheels which, given the size, will have less sidewall?

Yeah doesn't make much sense but I can get them for cheap it's really more for tire life I could switch out rims for summer and winter etc. just thinking about it it's not a need. They are coming off another bmw so I know they will mount just concerned if they will rub at all. I went on car ID and they are only guaranteeing fitment on a square set up of 8.5 wide. But I seen a post on here were some people are running 19x10.5 in the rear I'm figuring they will work. I'm not concerned about ride quality I will probably run 30's as far as the side wall I like the low profile look. This is not my first car I have a F02 as well lowered on 22's staggered set. I was just trying to see if anyone was already running 20's on the x1 I'm a big wheel guy i like to fill the gap as much as possible. Not look to buy brand new wheels for the wife to trash but if I could get some for cheap that look good shit why not maybe she will stay away from the curb? 😂😂😂

I couldn't get their web page to load today, but Hartge used to advertise a 20" wheel set for the BMW X1 E84 model. I copied the specs before the company went out of business last year. Here's what they offered ...

Front: 20"x9" Wheel / 33mm Offset / 245/30R20 Tire
Rear: 20"x10" Wheel / 40mm Offset / 295/25R20 Tire

I'm still rolling on my stock 18" wheels, so I can't personally vouch for this configuration.

Put in what you have now and what you're switching to. I know BMWs are finicky with wheel sizes so do some research or be prepare for potential bucking as the AWD system doesn't like the new sizes.
