Using Mann Oil Filters
Hey everyone, my local BMW dealer was recently bought out and prices for service have skyrocketed. They want $199 for an oil change on my 2014 X1 35i.
It used to be $89. I'm not longer going back there. So I've been searching, and I've bought from FCP before. They offer genuine BMW oil in kits, but only with Mann brand oil filters. I like to support FCP because I do like their lifetime guarantee. Now, I know a lot of BMW oil filters are made by Mann but I figured I would post on the group here and see if you guys use them, or where else you might be buying your own oil change supplies from. |

I always use Mann filter if I don't have access to an oem filter. Quality is good, but make sure you purchase from a reputable vendor as counterfeits do exist in the market. The N55 uses mann 816x

I agree that MANN is a factory parts supplier, but couldn't you also just buy a filter at the dealership parts counter?
