LCI vs non-LCI halogen headlights??
So I've been looking around for answers and can't find anything definitive. I found an aftermarket headlight assembly that I really like for an 09-12 X1 with halogen headlights and I'm wondering if it will fit my 2014 X1. The seller says it's only for 09-12, but is there any reason it wouldn't be compatible with a 2014 model? What's the difference between LCI and non-LCI halogen headlights?
The only difference I was able to find were for the xenon lamps where the LCI version has that strip of light on the eyebrow. Here's the link to the headlights on eBay: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Black-finish...gAAOSwUZhbPKs0 |

Those are the depo headlights I installed them in my 2015 they will work with no errors, you just need to code the DRL to the parking light easy to do with bimmercode.

I have a 2011 X1 halogen and want to install LCI scoop headlights with rings (original part not aftermarket)
Is it directly compatible with my old X1? If not is what mods i have to do? Last edited by nokstar; 09-10-2020 at 02:23 AM.. Reason: chnage |
