To this ..... With the fitting of my winter wheel set, Pirelli sottozeros on a 17 square set up.
Driving back from the dealers the transformation in the ride quality was very noticeable, so much smoother and more compliant than the 18in Goodyear efficient grips of the summer set

Thanks for the replies guys it is a BMW official wheelset through my local dealer bowker who swop them over free of charge ... No complaints
Have to say I am a total convert to winter wheels as it is pretty much unstoppable in the snow ice .. In fact last winter the only time I couldn't get out was when the snow buried the snowplough ! I live about 160m above sea level in the Lancashire hills and on my commute have to go over some high ground where rain can be snow up there. I find though that the security offered in the cold weather and heavy rain and flooded roads is worth it's weight in gold .. What happens when you live in the wettest part of the uk

Being in FLA USA, my winter set consists of putting on socks in the evening and a long sleeve shirt during the morning. By 10 AM i can roll up my sleeves!
This is why my X1 3.5i does not have the CWP! Stay warm! |

I am driving mine north for Thanksgiving and Christmas to visit my family and the wifes family. I hope it snows feet just so I can test out the X-Drive

Where in FL? Down here in Miami as a new resident, I refuse to wear long sleeve shirts. When I was told of a possible cold front hitting us that would be near the high 50's/low 60's I lol'd.
