Can I leave headlight on?

Hi,
I have a 2013 X1 with no adaptive headlights. On my E89 with adaptive headlight I can leave the switch on A.
On this X1 if I leave the switch on ON the lights turn off when I turn off the car BUT can I leave them on?
Is there a risk to drain the battery?

That's what I do on my 2014. No issues so far.

Glad to hear that. Been used to adaptive headlights I always forget to turn them off glad to know that there's no chance to drain the battery.
