Android audio over USB
Pretty basic question here. I've played audio over USB on my iPhone since I've owned my X1. Can I do the same with an Android device?
My work phone is a Note 5 and I have not been able to get it to work so far.

Well it's not something I need to do, so I'm certainly not going to waste a lot of time playing with it if it's already been identified as something that doesn't work.
Bit of a bummer though, as I've started thinking about what kind of a phone I'd like next and this seems to eliminate quite a few, especially with so many removing the headphone jack as well (which I'd hate using in the car, but find to be an absolutely stupid decision otherwise).

I hadn't tried that, but what sucks is you don't get album art over Bluetooth (and BT audio quality sucks).

Nay, the bluetooth profiles supported by BMW sucks.
The audio quality of bluetooth aptx (stereo @ ~340 Kbs) far surpasses anything you are going to stream (outside of lossless, local files). |

I use a thumb drive its better IMO you dont have to connect your phone etc. It remembers where you were and even differentiates between the keys so when my wife gets in and drives my car it goes to her radio settings then when I get back in its back on my thumb drive.
