Although the official details and images of the X1 M-sport package were recently announced, we bring you the first fully uncovered production X1 M-sport photos. Save for the unpainted front fender trim, this Lemans Blue X1 looks terrific in its M-sport aerodynamics package. The wheels seen here are not the M-sport wheels. The M-sport 17" and 18" M alloy wheels can be compared in these photos.

The X1 M-Sport Package includes:
  • Sports Suspension
  • 17-inch double-spoke M alloy wheels
  • Optional 18-inch double-spoke M alloy wheels
  • M aerodynamics package including M door sills and High Gloss Shadow line trim for the window surrounds and roof rails.
  • New Colors: Alpine White, LeMans Blue, Black Sapphire Metallic, Space Gray, Vermillion Red, Mineral White
  • Sports seats in cloth/alcantara
  • M leather-trimmed steering wheel
  • BMW Individual roof liner in Anthracite.
  • Dark cross-brushed aluminium interior trim

The M-Sport Package will hit the market this Spring in Europe. Latest reports expect the X1 to be launched in the US in Fall 2011. More information on the X1 here and on the all new generation of inline 4-cylinder turbo engines here.

Good thing then that these are random wheels for testing/winter purposes.

The M-Sport wheels are these:

It looks pretty low in the back, and sorta low in the front. I bet lowering springs can make it the height of a sedan!

I am wondering if this small SUV is capable of sporty driving. That would be cool if it is.

Don't expect it to be anything like your 1er, but it should it be a fun car. It's essentially an E91 with a different outer shell, higher, and a bit heavier.

Hurry up and bring this to the states (with an I6) so I don't end up buying a used Double-Cab 4x4 Toy Taco. This, an x3, old x3 or an older Taco, I can't seem to decide. Need to be able to pull a small cargo trailer though...
