FS NY: E84 17" Track Setup - Bridgestone RE-71R 245/45-17
Selling my X1's track wheels. These are in perfect condition, no curbing or scratching whatsoever. 10/10 cosmetic. They are TR Motorsport (Tire rack) C4 17x8. Center caps not included, they fell out on the track. The tires are Bridgestone RE-71R 245/45-17. This is the correct size to retain your speedometer accuracy on an E84, as the diameter is the same as stock. (If you care) They have exactly three hours of track time on them. New tread depth is: 8/32" Current tread measurements: 6/32" 6/32" 5/32" 5/32" These tires transformed my X1 into a trackday beast, surprising C5 Vettes and other high-end cars in the twisties. I paid $1100 before shipping for these last year. Price: $700 firm. Local pickup preferred but would consider driving a little to meet halfway if you are in the Northeast. I don't know burnout8488 but I do have experience with RE-71Rs and will second that these are great tires.
Not only are they good track tires, they also would make a great set of summer performance tires.

FYI if you bought these from tire rack they replace center caps, no questions asked.

Oh, and the rubber fragments that are on the tires will come right off after a run down some twisties. They look chunky but it comes off every trackday. |

Bump - price drop since it's October. :-) These made great summer tires if you don't plan on going to the track much. Very lightweight as well, the X1 is surefooted on these! Not quite the same look as an 18" or 19" wheel but the immediate steering and immense grip more than makes up for it.
