Rear seat air vents
Are there air conditioning/heating vents under the front seats for the back seating area? You can't see any in the pictures and this is an issue with the Mini Clubman.

When it's 98 on a typical day in the summer in South Carolina no rear vents is definitely a problem. Our Mini takes 10 minutes to cool down.

There are double vents under each front seat (and woofer speakers too), close to transmission tunnel. At first I was a little disappointed, because on most cars of this size you have vents with fancy grilles and knobs which give a touch of luxury, but the air conditioning in X1 does a very good job i heating and cooling and maybe this is a better solution, at least kids don't mess with the buttons.
One thing about AC that impress me is de-fogging of windshield, it is done in an instant. |

My dad's F25 X3 is being used as a baby carrier. During the decision process we saw that the pre LCI X1 did not have center rear vent (behind armrest) so we decided to bump up to the X3.
