Rear View Camera - Where did you run the wiring?
Whats up guys, about to install my new Android unit over the holidays, will be adding a backup camera as well.
Just out of curiosity, how did you guys run the wiring to the head unit? Roof Liner or the floor?

im also in the process of installing my backup camera. I plan to run the wire through the roof liner. my issue now is really finding the positive 12v wire that is connected to the reverse light wire harness.
any idea which wire I should tap into for the reverse light power? |

Out of curiosity, are you installing the replacement door handle camera? I keep wondering why they always push that one when there is a hole/place next to that built for a stand-alone camera. I have yet to do the Android install myself, but it looks like they keep making improvements to these units, the screens are improving and now have wireless CarPlay.

I guess it's more of a cleaner install. The cameras that fit into the square beside the handle sometimes require drilling. Either is fine, this was packaged into the deal so I didn't bother changing it out. I plan to install the unit along with the front DVR and rear camera over the holidays. Never used one of these before, hoping it works as I hope it to.
