When my wife's health took a turn for the worse, I told her dad that if I lost her he won't even be told when or where the funeral is since he is such a deadbeat son of a bitch. Fortunately her health improved (out of the woods with chemo) and now he wants to know her but it took me to say that so he would contact her. He's a man baby and doesn't deserve his kids. Since he remarried he seems to have forgotten he has kids from his first marriage. He ain't worth the jail time as much he makes my piss boil when I see him.

I got my girlfriend pregnant (twins) @ 16 years old, she was a little older, lost and scared my father told me to make the right decision

Living with my parents and in the middle of school she moved in with me/us, I quit school and started to earn money, pampers are not cheap! With no bills and a hunger to make money saving every penny I bought us a house @ 18 $140k (saved $50k) in 20 months

Fixed it up and moved in (I'm a contractor) years later we are still together with 3 kids (never married tho) truly happy

She's my secretary and helped me build my business with 5 employees

Easily I could've just stayed in high school, paid my minimum child support and work at hertz as a junior manager with a shiny new Camry but I took responsibility and it all worked out


Just Middle school education, no GED and I employ people lol

Edit: @ 18 not married but with her, my family got us a "honeymoon" trip to Disney, being so young I couldn't rent a car, but I have kids a house and a business lol, hertz didn't care, take the bus or taxi around Kissimee

I'll confess....last night while watching a movie with the wife, I actually ate slightly over a 1/2 jar of Peanut Butter.

It started out as only going to be a couple of Tbsp's.....and before I knew it I had eaten way too much!

I travel a lot, my kids come with us so we get furnished Apartmants for a month or so (think Airbnb)

Going to Paris, Barcelona or Athens my wife loves going to local grocery stores (living like a local)

To the point: peanut-butter on a slice of bread is as American as apple pie NO other kids in the park(s) would eat it, to us a pb&j sandwich is normal but it's taboo almost every other place because it looks like a Sh*t sandwich

German restaurants laughed almost when we asked ice in our sodas please, kids Kringle when my twins ate peanut butter on celery sticks in a Paris park

we do the first part too, it's way better than staying in a hotel.
I don't do the second part though

if anything it took me a while to get used to the "american way" of putting a mountain of ice in your gallon-size refillable cup, my friends dipping their apple slices in peanut butter (i still don't approve of this - celery sticks??) and how water is more expensive than soda and how drinking sparkling water is seen as a luxury here

in europe unless you get pellegrino or acqua panna or something it's literally the same price as normal water...

i still don't get why starbucks has a drive thru, especially ATMs make even less sense to be drive thru. it's not even convenient or easy to use from the car!!!!!

I just wished we had more young men and women like you and your partner. Thank you for sharing and continued success to your family! I always said to my kids that a University degree is not a requirement to be successful, but heart and dedication. Again, congrats!

Smooth...and of the Natural Variety that you keep in the fridge and re-mix all of the oil in before eating.

To be honest it wasn't that remarkable, our parents had money but wanted US to do it alone, we had a safety net

Never was scared if we were ever going to live on skid row

20% down + closing fees and updating plumbing/electrical cost ALL my savings
Our dads bought furniture and some odds n ends (big help)

Most kids having Kids would not have that kind of support WE did

Do ultra low carb, steak salads, and pure protein for snacks (spicy pork rinds and a Diet Coke) helped me melt winter fat summer just go on a less intense low carb life style, loose the bread and sweets eat as normal

Thanks for the advice...but I have my diet pretty much nailed down. I typically never get above 12% in the Winter, and go down to about 8% in the summer although I sometimes will go into the 6% range just to see if I can still do it.

The girlfriend had a terrible water leak at her house last week. Until the damaged pipe is repaired, she has no hot water. I invited her and her kids to stay with me last night. It's been 8 years since I have had a female and children in my house. I actually kinda enjoyed it. Made me remember why I enjoyed being married.

This also scares the living shit out of me.
