I got my invitation to attend the official unveiling of the "all-new BMW X1" at my local dealer on April 14th.
If it's anything like the unveiling of the Z4 I attended in 2002, there'll be lot's of booze served to numb the pain of viewing the sticker price..

I'm going to the BMW Toronto one tonight. As far as the price, it's 38.5K base plus 10K in options plus PDI and HST. So you looking at big bucks. Now that you know, you can enjoy those drinks and nibbles.

I agree that the options add up very quickly. the X3 28i is approximately the same price and would be comparably equipped, but it all depends what you want for looks, performance and feel.
I really don't care about the high price, but that is not going to prevent me from buying another BMW. If I was onlyworried about price, I would buy a Kia. |
