Shifter Update on xDrive35i, aFe, 4x4, Quad Exhaust etc.

So this shift knob looks identical to my old E91 (E90, etc) that looked so outdated. I decided to follow the same plan and update this 35i shifter, the 28i looks really clean in comparison.

I bought a black leather with white stitching Manual Transmission X1 Shift Boot with Fram from the UK. Took about 8 days to get to me which I think is pretty good. I bought an aftermarket LCI Style illuminated Shift Knob. The knob comes with its own harness. Really easy to take apart the blue shifter light module underneath OEM shift plate trim.

This is what it looks like from beginning to end.

*** I swapped out the chrome one with the silver one in my E91 because the chrome looked too strong in there.

Quick question, how did you do the quad exhaust? If you had a shop do it, how much did it cost, and if you did it yourself, do you have some sort of plans you would be willing to share, Id like to do the same thing
