Because those rear vents do absolutely nothing and they know it.

Yeah, it's still 18.3" longer than a Miata and 1,050 pounds heavier. Apparently the internet is full of fools.

Boy the A80 hasn't aged well in the looks department. The rear 3/4 in particular looks terrible.

It was always an ugly car. Maybe not 3000GT ugly, but never good. The wheels are naff, lug covers are always ugly. The front looked like it was designed by a different team than the back and they never talked. And the wing, oh that wing.

But they were fast, especially the single turbo conversions. Not sure what will save this one.

To be fair, this was the bubble car era. To not be fair, Honda was building the NSX at the same time which has aged like a fine wine.

The NSX and FD RX7 both still look great. The Z, Supra and 3k all look pretty dated.

These small sport cars are a mean for escape. During the 80's and 90's, we didn't have internet so these cars were popular back then. Now you got internet, video games, augmented reality, and so on so the need for these cars are no longer something you have to have. To be honest, personally, I don't really care for these cars as much as before.

The future whether you like it or not is in electric, autonomous driving.

Maybe for my kid, not for me though. I'll drive a manual, ICE car until this whole operation shuts down.

Well the young generations are probably more into iPhones, tweeter, fb ... I don't think they think about cars the way people do in the 80's or 90's. For them cars are basically a mean to get from one place to another, and even better if they don't have to do the driving.

To me fully autonomous is still a long way from now. I don't think it's the technology. Maybe inherently it's not possible since software can't really 100% emulate the way our brains think when we drive.

In general this may be true, but my 11 yr old would beg to differ as well a few of his friends. He wants nothing more than to drive a manual shit box for his first car (bc I won't let him get a RWD Nissan anything that he wants).

Not really a growing number of young people like stuff from the 80s and 90s, all you need to do is go to a song from tbe 90s and see the comments ,kids are all saying how they eish they grew up back then, 80s synth music, and those colors they used

Human heart is still the human heart. the same things drive then that drove you when you were in your teens, the need to be free and wild

Only difference is now there is a way higher concentration of leftist libtard social justice warrior feminist homosexual communist cancer in control of key decision making positions, sepcially those that decide for what children get influenced by, thus there js a false reality that is projected into the mainstream culture that leads certain trends , a case of life trying to imitate art

Theres always a certain passive percentage of midns rhat will get influenced ,but the silent majority is still the same
