Gear Change Indicator
After belatedly resetting my clock, the gear change indicator has disappeared from the display between the dials. I find it quite irritating, but as I've paid for it I'd like it back. Anyone have any ideas?

I think you need to play with the two switches - on the end of the stalk and the other on the stalk.

It's in the manual, but doesn't really make much sense in there. From memory... push in the end of the left hand lever (not the cruise control one) and scoll through fuel consumption, distance to empty, etc until the space is blank. Then push and hold in the button until the gear indicator comes up. I'm pretty sure that's how you do it.
If that doesn't work then before you do it you might need to put the car in gear, keep your foot off the clutch if manual then press the start button. The car shouldn't start, but will just bing away. Then do the above. I switched mine off on Day 1. It makes you drive like a nanny if you pay any attention to it. Really irritating. |
