Eh... it's Ohio. There really isn't anything cool on any side of town.

No, they don't know each other and neither know the other will be there.

They are doing the full distance. Wife was a little freaked out because she separated her shoulder in a bike crash on Sunday, but the shoulder ortho specialist said she's clear to run as her pain tolerance will dictate how hard she trains.

I miss the music scene in Cleveland, but not much else - hoping to get there for the Rocket From the Tombs show coming up at the Beachland, if I can swing the time off. Especially not missing that 45m commute that felt like evac time in Beirut. West side is the best side, for sure, but not if you are working cross town.

Well, I'm hoping I'll only be here for two years max, and then start doing some traveling but that's up in the air.

Commute to Euclid takes about a half hour (20 mi), in NC commute was an hour (57mi). Half hour is nice.

Last day at a company I've worked at for 14 years and moving on to a role at a company that puts me 4-5 years ahead in my career. From spending time with some of the SLT, it seems like a life improvement.

I'm getting rich .
I stumbled upon a guide, about participating in a dealer auction without the dealer, saving money in the procedure.

What do you think about this?

There was some point in my life, were "mistakes" I made where not mistakes and ALWAYS lead me to a better path, I always got a positive result, no matter how bad the FU was.
In fact in hindsight not making those decisions, or just accepting decisions that I had no control over where the best thing to ever happen to me.

(that was a gift I received from on high, it never EVER failed me )


THEN it happened, one day I decided not to follow (what you guy's would call your hunches) I lent on my own understanding.

And my whole entire world fell to s**t, been like that for the past 10 years.
NO matter how I scramble out, no matter what I do, the old butterfly effect
screwed to the wall solid.


I am now enrolled in the "school of hard knocks" and learning and taking every step
day by fraggin day.

Not expecting anyone to understand, nor a reply.

Have I got things to be thankful for, for sure, BUT when I know what I gave up,
what I could have had and been, makes me wanna climb a tower with a shottie.

So I sit here at this computer screen, pushing all that hate, anger, regret, into a small ball, and push it deep deep deep down, into a place where it can fester, and appear to all around me like an ordinary person.

One day it will explode, maybe I might get lucky and have an anurism !
