A few new pics (non photo shop)
Ok just finished waxing and thought I'd share a few pics.
I like the plastic dip as I did the chrome ring on the grills and I also did the shark fin on the roof Im not going to do the wheels as much as I want too. I took it to a car wash and did a normal wash without any problem no plastic dip being destroyed or torn. Warning = If you take it to have someone else clean or detail your car you may need to tell them NOT to rub the areas covered with PD with a towel as it will come off or rip off. Drive through car washes with brushes may as well screw it up too. JUST and FYI My next add-on is the mud flaps they should be here next week and new foot peddles.

Could anyone help me find these for the X1 as they look sorta universal for BMW automatic trans
If I ordered for the 135I they would work right? And next where is the best place order? thx 3D Design Aluminum Pedal Set edit: Never mind I found another set that look like it but much cheaper.. Dang they wanted $400.00 too much for something you put your feet on and find close to the same thing $300.00 cheaper last pic is the cheaper version but same build quality or I hope so...

I'm interested in how you like steering; Servotronic is an option and that is the thing that most separated the driving experience of my X5 4.8is (2004) from the ordinary X5's that drove like a truck (!) by comparison!

Well to be real I'm no real car fanatic or know all that much about cars but, I will say I came from a x6 35i and I just did a long drive from south Florida to Tennessee about 800 miles. A few times I would say out of the blue DAM! I love this car! to myself. I never did that with the x6. The car has that go cart feel and thats what I like the x6 felt too huge. The x6 was a cushier ride and somewhat more quite. The x1 is more my style for the what I need for work/play/and transportation. I went over 100 mph and did feel a little vibration not much the x6 i could go 125mph and would not realize it as it was smooth as silk on the rd. My gas milage is my only gripe as its almost the same as the x6. my average speed HYW was 80-85 mph i was getting 22-23 mpg in the city it started out 12-13mpg and now it around 16mpg. I know the car is new but i hope in time that will get better.
I will also say to my surprise I do notice the car does get attention and A LOT! I was parked in MIami lincoln rd. came back to car with 5 people standing around it admiring it (no lie) and it does turn heads. so thats my review from a non "car educated "guy.

Great mods so far! I'll be picking up a 28i white m-sport soon. Quick question for ya, does the led eye brow lights up with the halos or only when the lights are on?
