Yikes My tires are rubbing!!!
My Tires are rubbing the front right tire is. I just noticed it today while in reverse backing out of a parking spot. It rubs a bolt that in inside the finder.
Yes I have 15mm spacers on the front but this should not affect the wheel from front to back. Has anyone who has 19" wheels with M package have this problem? Again I have plenty of space when tires are going straight it only when I turn the tires in towards the left very sharp this happens. see pic to demonstrate. Again this in only on the right front wheel. the other side is close but not touching. but is almost by a thread.... The pics load vertical when loaded to forum????

I'm a newb to BMW, but don't most front fenders/bumbers have a slight give away when hit? Maybe your right side just needs to be pulled out a few mm's.
Happened on my truck once, my buddy accidently backed into my front bumper and pushed it in a few inches. I just pried it back with a shovel. Of course, you should go to the dealer, and not go for the shovel. |

That said, there should be more clearance than this - imagine doing a turn on a bumpy road. |

I asked you in another thread, but you never answered, what offset are your wheels now with the spacers?
I'm currently running 19x8" ET25 with 235 rubbers all around dropped on H&R springs. I don't have this issue at all.

Normally, I'm not a grammar nazi, but in this case, it's quite important that he doesn't loose them but lose them. The former could be catastrophic.

just 15mm spacers but 15mm going out will not add to the girth of the tire to cause this as spacers push the tire outward not forward. It would clear if not for the head of the bolt. its not like this on the left wheel no bolt to rub, Yes everything is stock minus the spacers

It's probably due to the inner curvature of the wheel well... When pushing the wheel out with the spacer it changes where the tire lands at full cut and everywhere in between. You can try removing the bolt completely and see if the liner is rigid enough to stay put which will give you 3-4mm of clearance.
You could also replace hex head bolt with a Torx head screw with same thread pitch which will give you 2-3mm clearance. I haven't removed the front liners yet but if that hex bolt goes into a bracket it could be slightly off from the factory and you can adjust/tweak it forward. Hope that helps a little |
