Extra marks for using Winamp. I'm also still using that good ol' music player after all those years with the default blue 'skin' that later replaced the original green one. Rock solid oldskool freeware.

The car is so powerful and there is just so much technology to consider concerning yourself with, it has this unintended effect of "pushing me" to simply queue up a tune I love and just be a driver. I know it'll wear off in time, but it's really intoxicating.

Still happens to me with my '08 335xi. It never gets old.

I drove an M240i XDrive for six laps on the Nurburgring last summer. You have a wonderfully capable car. Enjoy it.

I always loved this 1983 funk track ever since I heard it back in those early 80s days.

Back in the 80s there used to be a broadcast on Dutch national radio on Thursday eve where they only aired the latest funk releases (fresh stuff, mainly US import). Tuned in many times for years to listen to that broadcast. Only few tracks got mainstream afterwards but most music remained underground (over here in Europe only played in some discos and at the bumper cars section of fairgrounds).
