Thank MIB.... They are OEM BMW and you can order them at the dealership. I paid $110.00 for them.
Part Numbers: 51712297585 51712297586 they say they are not valid but push them to find them...... Good Luck |

I actually contacted KW North America and they replied that they are not planning or making any coilover kit for the X1 35i at this time. Some information if you can read german, but at least some pictures and numbers to figure some out. Doesn't state there is one made for 35i. BMW-X1-35220068 document pdf section

Got the blacked out Kidneys for Christmas. Looks great, but was a bitch putting in. Cut my arms up reaching down into the bumper and dropped a screwdriver into the bumper. Had to remove the bottom cover to get it out. Was a pain but worth it.

I asked you about the afe drop in filter for the X1, I have a dumb question just to confirm my knowing. Is the air filter compartment in the engine bay the one with silver clips around the box and a cable plugged on the pipe that goes to the engine? The filter has arrived, and my X1 has also just arrived at Port Hueneme. Probably in VPC right now.. Thank you. PS: Happy new year to you! |

Yes that is the airbox, just unclip the clips and pull the lid away and swap filters

Just installed the BMS jb4 N55, lots more power, have 335 and 135 with BMS jb4, anyone else installed this, curious to review reports...i did not know which cluster setting to use pn the JB4, BMS said that they had not done x1 yet and to try all to see which one looks better, which setting is best, i like stage 2 but used the automatic one and seems to have better power? any help appreciated

Has anyone that's doing performance mods taken the time to get any stock / pre-mod dyno numbers or track times for the various drivetrains ? I looked but didn't any posted here in the mod thread. I'm hoping some folks have taken the time to get some actual performance numbers for the platform for comparison.
