Now you think his wants Max to win next year? Say the answer is yes. So now he's removed the captain of a sinking ship with very little time before the next ship is finalized. Meanwhile another ship next door has already been built.

So Max has got very little allegiance to Red Bull as he owes his success to Horner. We know Mercedes has made him a good offer.

According to F1 specialists , it will take 3 years to compensate the disadvantage of the RB21 performance and in 2026 of the RB22.
And the new 2026 Ford PU doesn't bode well ..
With those 2 French idiots , Pierre Waché and Laurent Mekies at the Red Bull helm is the Red Bull Team doomed to fail (!)

Lets not forget Horner BUILT RedBull.

Not that the current generation of RedBull owners give two shits. Once the original share-holders died (Dietrich Mateschitz, 49%) or passed on thier shares to kids (Chaleo Yoovidhya, 51%), the new generation has decided to "leave thier mark". So now they will, by dismantling RB Racing.

Mark Mateschitz is, by all indications, as spoiled prick, who has been trying to fire Horner for 1+ years. I know little of Chalerm Yoovidhya, but he seams totally disconnected from RB.

Max will leave for Mercedes at the end of this year.

Oh well.

P.S.: Horner might resurface at Marinello, where he will finally get to run a fully functional car and engine engineering teams!

The AIS systems (Automatic Identification System) from both yachts are shut down (!)

It also appears to be impossible to track the 'Unleash the Lion' on maritime trackers. According to the trackers, the boat has been stationary in a harbor near Porto Cervo for several days, but the dark gray boat is not visible on webcams. It therefore appears that Verstappen's tracker has been deactivated, for the time being.

Wolff's boat is also no longer clearly trackable, which is not surprising. There is no obligation to share the Automatic Identification System with the entire world.
The Million Dollar question is : Is the situation a sign on the wall ?

Bild reported that both Yoovidhya and Max Verstappen were absent from Horner’s annual clay pigeon shoot event near Oxford in the days before the British Grand Prix.

Everyone's opinion atm is based on just speculation.

Max has something to do with this no doubt, but Horner was 100% in a power struggle and he lost. This past 1 year or so, everything played out in front of the newspapers and tabloids. RB's current predicament has been Horner's fault as well. Yes, he built up RB to what they are today but he also managed to flop it within basically 2 years. From Newey's world beating car in just 3 years ago, to a barely drivable one (even in Max's hands) in about a year and a half. Horner let all of it happen.

I doubt Max will stay at RB at this point. There are too many unknowns in 2026 for RB. For a driver like Max that is a pure racer, all of this is just a headache. If Mercedes gives him guarantees, Max should take it. Red Bull is a sinking ship at this point, everyone can see it.
