We went there a while ago and I recall it was a place that I'd go back again. However, there are so many choices locally that we haven't been back since. One of our local favorites is a French bistro that does my favorite moules frites anywhere. The broth has fennel and quite flavorful.

Yep, moules frites are 100% specific Belgian .
So if I get this right...The owners of the restaurant are French Belgians ?
And actually I'm pretty good in the kitchen too and make moules frites also at home , but my choise of the broth go's to a mixture of strong onions , celery , and leek with lots of moules herbes and strong pepper .

No...our favorite place for moules is not Brussels Bistro. It's a French bistro called Marche Moderne. The owners, Florent and Amelia, are French...from France.
