Dinner today. Akuashi ribeye (medium rare) with some sort of brown butter sauce.
Peanut butter donut with honeycomb almond, crumble, and salted caramel. The ribeye was good. I've never heard of "akuashi beef" before but I'm fairly certain it's not anything special. The quality of the meat was no different from USDA prime. The peanut butter donut was surprisingly good. The donut was piping hot and gooey on the inside. The crumble was phenomenal. And the combination of sweet, salt, and savory worked for me. |

Looks like akuashi beef is tangentially related to wagyu beef, but I honestly can't tell. I've had legitimate wagyu before (craftsteak @ vegas, numerous michelin starred restaurants in NY and CA) and the difference in marbling is night and day.

Tonight, I had some top-of-the-line Totino's Pizza Rolls, served with four freshly toasted Kellogg's Eggo Blueberry Waffles drenched in Aunt Jemima's Butter Rich syrup, served with one glass of fat free milk:

To the diet guys in the thread, I just hit 197.6 finally dropped under 200lbs for the first time in years! With my genes every spare ounce of body fat sits on my lower belly, so even at 6'4'' I'm going to have to keep losing to get my abs looking like I want....Anyway that's about 95lbs since last easter....

Yeah if you go by the BMI anything under 205 lbs is a ''healthy weight'' for my height, but I want to lose the fat that's left around my lower belly. I'm thinking 190 will probably accomplish that...

Thank you! To anyone who's interested I based most of my diet principles, on Dr. Fuhrman's philosophy of an unrefined plant based diet. I do eat meat, but in moderation, and generally it's chicken tenderloins (25 calories an oz) or fish....

Once I get down to 190 I'm going to start weight lifting, I find that it increases my appetite too much while trying to maintain a strict calorie deficit....

8 oz filet with creamed corn and mashed potatoes, and then bread pudding with amy's sweet cream ice cream for dessert. I thought the food presentation was something out of the 70s or 80s |
