If you have configured the iPod device for bluetooth streaming, it will ask you if you want to enable USB and disable bluetooth when you plug in. To go back to bluetooth, you don't have to re-pair, but you need to re-enable audio streaming under the settings of that paired device.

I wanted black exterior with the beige interior and wood trim. Instead I got black on black with the dark metal trip. It's okay but not what I wanted.

I regret that BMW is completely stupid with their line limitations.
I wanted: X1 35i M Sport Deep Sea Blue exterior Terra Nevada leather with matte wood interior Would have been a ridiculously good looking combo. But instead I have sapphire black/black, which is still nice. |

We have an s28 with M-package, Tech package, Driver's assistane package, and H/K stereo, and Valencia Orange paint.
Frankly, if I were to do it all over again, I might just go with a black no-line with the Ultimate Package and H/K. The reason is that the non-power seat is really crude and miserable, and the base interior feels cheap in places- like the interior lights- they have the cheapest looking covers this side of a 98 Ford Escort. The manual-dimming mirror with the gigantic plastic twist knob is clunky and awkward. The M-pacakge looks sweet, but it's a lot of money for looking sweet. A no-line black car is similar to the M-Pcakage in that the whole exterior would at least be 1 color. I think the Ultimate Package should be the minimum on this car. Anything less than that and you feel like you are being punished by BMW for being so cheap. |

I'm currently deployed overseas but just ordered a xdrive28i. Alpine white/beige leatherette, sunroof, tech/cold wx/lighting package, servotronic and sport steering wheel. Delivery in July when I return to the states...I didn't get a chance to test drive it, but my wife did. I"ll let you know my regrets in July, but I think i'm going to love it.

I kind of wish I had opted for the I-drive. When I test drove a car with it, I didn't see it as being that great. When I got a loaner this week so I could have the auto s/s turned to 'last user setting' the loaner had I-drive. Now I wish I had it.
I kind of wish I had the x-line with the fancy wheels rather than the base wheels but that is easy enough to change. If I were to spend the money though, it would be on something other than BMW brand wheels. |
