I love this thread!
No offense to whoever has it lowered, but a lifted X1 is like God’s gift to earth! I’m relocating from Orlando, FL to CT and will be lifting my x1 3.5 along with some more go fast mods =] Last edited by bassrebel; 05-28-2020 at 08:05 AM.. |

The suspension mods are eibach pro lift springs and 20mm strut spacers. The bmw mudflaps had to be shaved down in some spots to prevent tire rub. Super happy with how it all came out, love my X1!

Looks really good, love Eibach, wish they had lowering springs as well. Nice! Describe the roof add-on, what kind of rack/ tent is that and it looks like you have a hitch with a step.

Been lurking on this thread for a long time! Mine has 225/55/17 tires on the stock rims but no lift. Hasn't rubbed yet and has 1/2" clearance on full lock.

Anyone interested in a set of these Eibach Pro Lift Springs?
Hello,
Super awesome build OP!! I used to belong to another BMW forum back in 2015-2018. I had a BMW xDrive 28i, which I had purchased these springs for. Unfortunately my wife totaled it in an accident. I had almost forgot about them till I was cleaning out my garage. Brand new - still in the same box pictured below. I am just gauging interest for now... Thanks for any thoughts. |

I’ve been following this thread for a long time, and finally this year I began my X1 build. I also have more serious off-road / 4x4 friends who doubted the capabilities of my BMW. I’ve taken this up some fairly serious trails, and it has exceeded all expectations.
I will be shooting video of this one on some more demanding trails soon Last edited by Kandrew; 06-23-2021 at 09:53 AM.. Reason: Photo links fixed |

How is the alignment with the lift springs and strut spacers? What offset wheel are you running, and any issues with rubbing for you? I have the eibach springs too and have been wondering if the strut spacers would work at the same time

I have the Eibach lift springs and Bilstein B6 struts but it is not much taller than stock. The tires are 235/50r18 Falken Wildpeak AT Trail. They do rub a little, but it’s not bad.

Rubbing of 225/55/R18
Hi,
I am new here. Took a gamble and now a problem with Avon Ax7 225/55 R18 on the front. The rub on the front lower section (back) of the arch cover on tuning. Is this something anyone has experienced? How bad is it and what are the solutions ? Thanks |

Cool build!
Thanks for your great documentation on this build. I’m inspired to do something similar with my E84; however, I want to get a little more aggressive. I will be sure to post here and document all my mods.

Been watching this thread for a while, finally going to put an Eibach lift and B6’s next month!! Do you still have the vehicle and if so any long term thoughts? Any camber issues w the lift?wondering if I should just bite the bullet and get adjustable camber plates straight off the bat. Keeping my current 235/50/17’s for now, will eventually get some bigger Falken Wildpeaks
