Just read ddee63x's post, went to the referenced website and and I, too, love the car. I also wish that one would've come over to this side of the pond:

Just ordered a 2015 X1 M 335i Problem: May not arrive with the following (based on listing in the order sheet and BMWUSA website "Build Your Own"): - No Exterior "M" badge - No Aluminum door-sill finishers with the "M" logo - No "M" footrest

On 2015, no "M" badge but the other two are still there. All 3 are not a big deal in my book anyways.

I got 2 out of 3 as well .. mine didn't come with m foot rest so thinking of getting one either thru dealer or eBay, whichever's cheaper.

I hope you're right.
But, in Europe when you bring your BMW in for maintenance they want to know the month and year it was manufactured. Evidently, BMW makes "updates/changes" on a monthly, rather than an annual basis.

I want one on the back and driver side fender, where can I get original ones but preferably not from dealer so it will not be over priced! |

Measure Side M Badge
Would someone measure the M badge that appear on some of the cars. I'm having a devil of a time trying to find them

Thanks. No measurements on that one and I think it is the larger one that goes on the trunk lid

The ones on your sides look smaller than the one in the rear, though.

agreed... it's just more badges to remove in general. i prefer the cleaner look of only have a roundel in the front and back. no need to advertise what i purchased. i know what it is and don't care if others do.

I pulled the side X1 xdrive35i badges off, as well as the rear X1 badge. The small side M sport badges remain at the wife's request...but I'm sure they'll be off soon. Lowered a bit, and no one knows what model it is. |

exactly... i have removed the M badges, S/RS and AMG. those who know don't need a badge to tell what kind of car it is and those who don't know don't care anyway. the M badge situation on my X5M was absurd. they squeezed a badge onto everything. wherever your eye or hand lands had an M badge. i removed as many as i could unfortunately nothing i could do about headrests and floor mats.
