Which matte black kidney grilles is everyone using? I don't mind spending a few bucks for a good one but don't want to spend $300 for one either.

N55 BMS Downpipe is installed, along with the Performance Friction PF08 track brake pads.
Install on the downpipes is identical to that of the 335 xdrive - loosen the subframe and they go right in and fit perfectly. For those interested, the brake pad shape is identical to the 335i - any brake pad designed for the 335i will work. Heading down to the drag strip in about an hour. |

X1 World Record - car ran phenomenal tonight. After the 12.5 pass the car got more attention than pretty much anything else at the strip for the WTF factor. People loved it.
There is absolutely no question that you can hit low 12's with the X1. I still have stock midpipes, stock exhaust, and stock 19 inch wheels and tires. I had them weighed today and the fronts weighed 52lbs each and the back weigh 54lbs each. Just a wheel and tire swap with something forged and lightweight should get 12.35-12.4. |

I have a few, but all the cars I ran against were not much of a challenge. There was a 450WHP cobra there but he blew the launch and never could catch up. Basically the videos are just me demolishing everyone in the first five seconds and then they are so far behind you can't see anything.

Can someone send me a PM about the tranny mod? I am very interested as I think this is the missing link to really be the perfect car.
Also Paradox, what was the Part# for that downpipe? |

Software Mods?
...Hola X1ers! I pick up my 2014 X1 today and am excited about getting started with my new "relationship". I've been driving a 2007 Audi A3 since late 2006 and LOVE that car so this is actually a bit of an emotional day for me...(sniff)...I had the full APR software suite in my A3 so plan do to some "modest" modifications on my X1. What is the most common, reliable aftermarket software for the Turbo 4 engine I'll have in my X1? The salesman talked to me about something local to LA, "Berger"? Anyone know this one? Many thanks...
