Alonso may have said goodbye to his GF, like Charlie they may have been streets ahead and the girls just couldn't follow.

Max explains why a VSC, especially of second red flag, would have sorted the chaos (at beginning of vid)

Have you heard that Massa is studying what he can do with the legal implications of the 2008 championship outcome. Naturally he was, and still is extremely upset about what happened and if he is successful then Hamilton could lose his championship from that year in spite of the Fia 'Once trophy handed over then it's in stone'.

I won't go into it too much but in light of new evidence pertaining to the incident in question, it may be legally challenged.

Massa's potential insurmountable problem is that Piquet's cheating (and his team's cheating) was well known going back to 2009 when he admitted it very publicly after being fired by Renault.

In the US, his claim would have timed out a long time ago.

EDIT: Here is the link to the 2009 Guardian article laying out the important facts.

Lewis' qualifying record against George is not going to go down well in history. Dude needs to find some speed over a lap fast or the excuses and nonchalance will not bode well for his reputation.

He either lost it, George is the next phenom, or he was never as good as claimed (and his teammates). Only one is true.

The issue is the fact that Ecclestone knew, and took a long term view of the situation to protect the sport, but in doing so completely violated it's bylaws.

Mass has every right to get his championship back and reverse the situation.

Unfortunately that puts Lewis in a bad spot. Lewis should man up and hand it over to Massa unprovoked to protect his reputation as the good guy he wants to be known as. It was Massa's title as the rules say Singapore should have been nullified.

The reason that Russell has been slightly quicker over a time is probably that his PU was extra boosted in an attempt not to fall behind Verstappen, but paid the price in breaking down and Hamilton's is just enough to get him to the finish and challenge Alonso which he did at Albert park.

The jumping of the previous W13 also affected the older Hamilton more than the younger Russell I should have added.
