Fletcher NC is basically Arden, and is 20 minutes from downtown Asheville.

Great place - GREAT food and beer as you know. Lots of outdoor things to do and great roads for the bike.

Cost of living is high because of the R/E.

You could always rent your house write off any expenses against the income...

Axius - Remember, once you get past the food and beer, and the locale....Asheville is a very small place with a limited social nightlife and a high cost of living relative to the average wage paid.
