Dash USB
I had loaded my music onto the HD via the USB in the glove box. After reading this post, I loaded it all onto a tiny thumb drive and put it into the USB on the console, now I'm getting art work and all of the information on the track. Thanks for the discussion.

I believe the glove box USB does not support anything other than importing music. It's not available as an additional port for general music playing. I would have greatly loved to stash my iPod in the glove box.

UPDATE
It seems that my previous atempts with 64 and a 128 gb I tried before were in fact ExFAT not FAT32. The 128Gb Belongs to a friend of mine and I couldn't reformat the drive but the 64 was reformated using the software that I mentioned in the other thread and works just fine. I am under the impression that the reading speed from the flash drive matters, however Kingston Traveler seems to work faster than a New Patriot that I bought. Some USB drives come with FAT32 so those should be just fine. |
