No love for e36 so I will take that one....granted I am sentimental since it was my first M car. It started the disease......keeping the e92 this time around, for the engine to begin with. E30 is awesome, still working on liking the M4....

I'll take the E36, but in Estoril blue please... And the E30 Evo. Don't think you can go wrong with any of them!

I think I remember seeing the production stats for each vehicle as...
e30 sportEVO: 600 e36 GT: 356 e46 csl: 1,400 e92 gts: 135 f82 gts: 700 I think these are worldwide figures. Personally, my ranking would be 1. e46 2. e36 3. e92 4. e30 ... 5. f82 - not a fan of the styling |

No surprise to see the favor leaning toward the E92 on this forum. The E30 is far and away the best choice here. The E36 is also an under appreciated car. My list would go
E30 E36 E92 F82 E46 |

I always take a second to look at clean E36 M3's that are unmolested. A rare sight these days. They easily had the coolest color palette.

So I've been playing this game with my friends this morning.
You're on top of your favorite mountain road and all 5 of these cars are there. You're allowed to take any one of them for a spin for 5 hours. Which one? So the value of the car, you getting bored of not having 3 pedals ect ect doesn't matter since you're only getting it for 1 hour. I found this surprisingly difficult to answer.
